2. Booking appointments
- You can book an appointment through our online booking system or by telephone. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm it to you.
- Please give us accurate and complete information when you book, including any health conditions, medication or mobility needs that may affect your care.
- Please arrive a few minutes early. If you are late, we may have to shorten your appointment or rearrange it so that other patients are not kept waiting.
3. Your consent and your health information
- We will explain your assessment and treatment options and ask for your consent before we treat you. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- You agree to give us honest and up-to-date information about your health. Not doing so may affect the safety or suitability of your treatment.
- Patients under 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian with parental responsibility, who will be asked to give consent on their behalf.
- You are welcome to bring a relative, friend or carer to your appointment, and you may ask for a chaperone.
We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy.
4. Fees and payment
- We will tell you the fee for your appointment or treatment before it starts, and will let you know if the cost is likely to change.
- Payment is due at the time of your appointment, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Prices on our website or in our materials are for guidance and may change. The price confirmed to you at booking applies to that booking.
5. Cancellations and missed appointments
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice by telephone or through our booking system, so that we can offer your slot to someone else. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend, we may charge a cancellation fee. We will always consider genuine emergencies and illness sympathetically.
6. Home visits
Where we provide care at your home, please make sure we have safe access and a suitable, well-lit space for treatment. We may decline or end a visit if we believe there is a risk to the safety of our staff or to you, and we may charge a cancellation fee if we cannot gain access at the agreed time. Please contact us to confirm that we cover your address.
7. Treatment and outcomes
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, using our professional judgement. Because every person responds differently, we cannot guarantee a particular result. We may recommend that you see your GP or another professional if we believe this is in your best interests. You are responsible for following the advice and aftercare instructions we give you.
8. Orthotics and other products
Orthotics and insoles made specially for you are made to your individual specification and are therefore not normally returnable unless faulty or not as described. Other products may be exchanged or refunded in line with your statutory rights. Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.
9. Using our website
- Information only: the information on our website is for general guidance and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please always seek advice from a qualified professional about your own situation. In an emergency, contact your GP, NHS 111 or call 999.

10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
11. Complaints
We want to hear from you if something has not gone as it should. Please see our Complaints Policy for how to raise a concern and how we will deal with it.
12. Changes to these terms and conditions
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time you book or use our services applies, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
